The Kleemann Contractor Line: Efficiency in a compact design
Kleemann will showcase two plants from its successful Contractor Line at Intermat 2012: firstly the mobile jaw crusher, type Mobicat MC 100 R, and secondly the mobile impact crusher from the new Mobirex EVO series, MR 130 ZS.
MC 100 R: Compact, efficient, reliable
The MC 100 R is characterised by its compact and extremely robust design. Weighing only approximately 36 tons it is relatively easy to transport and thus also ideal for smaller jobs. There is the option to lower the crushing unit hydraulically to a height of 3200 mm for transport purposes. Yet the MC 100 R is very efficient. The powerful diesel engine with 228 kW, together with the hydraulic crusher drive, ensures maximum feed capacity of up to 200 t/h. The MC 100 R therefore has sufficient power reserves to operate the crushers also when the crushing jaw is full. In the event of blockages in the crushing jaw for example due to large parts or reinforcing steel elements wedging, the reversible crusher drive helps the crusher to move again freely without any additional auxiliary means. The infinitely variable gap setting proves particularly useful for frequently changing material as the plant can be adapted to new specifications in minimal time. The MC 100 R can thus be used more flexibly, be it for natural stone or in diverse recycling applications.
New impact crusher generation with optimum performance, wear and consumption values
Since its market introduction after Bauma 2010 the new EVO plants have demonstrated that they really offer more in the most diverse of customer applications. The new material flow concept which enlarges the system widths in the direction of the material flow ensures enhanced performance, less wear and optimum values in terms of consumption per tonne of broken material. At Intermat Wirtgen France and Kleemann will showcase an almost fully equipped plant. The MR 130 ZS EVO not only boasts the standalone double-deck grizzly typical of Kleemann, but it also has high-performance electromagnets and the screening unit including oversize grain return conveyor whose screen surface is 40% larger in comparison to the predecessor model.
High-performance, flexible use
Huge importance was attached to flexibility in the development of the EVO series. This started with the new feeding unit with a fully automatic hopper locking mechanism, then came the new touch panel control system with status displays in clear text format and then the completely redeveloped crusher. The infeed geometry has been redefined for better penetration of the material in the impact range of the rotor. The new C-Shape rotor ledges remain sharp for longer thanks to their C-shape and are characterised by a clamping system which makes changeovers much easier. A real highlight is the fully hydraulic and automatic gap setting, which permits the crusher gap to be adjusted to the exact millimetre using the touch panel when the rotor is running. All this not only increases the quality of the final grain, but also the availability of the plant. The new, very effective overload protection system also contributes to the increased availability of the plant.
Good after-sales service
In addition to all the main advantages these plants possess, huge importance is attached to another aspect: After-sales service. Here the well-known service of Wirtgen France, who are responsible for the sales and after-sales service of Kleemann products in France, comes in useful. Benoît Etienne, Branch Manager of Wirtgen France: "With us everyone can be sure that they are also in the best hands following their purchase of a plant".
